Marriage Law Foundation Provides Legal Reasoning To Defend Traditional Marriage

October 12, 2006 - The Marriage Law Foundation, based in Orem, Utah, is a non-profit organization that provides legal resources to defend and protect marriage as a union of a man and a woman.

The foundation aids lawyers in defending marriage and files amicus briefs on behalf of groups and individuals intent on preserving this vital institution as a one-man, one-woman union.

Dr. A. Dean Byrd's paper, Gender Complementarity and Child-rearing: Where Tradition and Science Agree, provides compelling evidence on the importance of traditional marriage.

In addition, Dr. George Rekers' paper Review Of Research On Homosexual Parenting, Adoption, And Foster Parenting, explains the potential pitfalls of same-sex parenting in the lives of children.

Dr. Jeffrey Satinover has presented expert testimony in defense of traditional marriage: Satinover Testifies Before Massachusetts Senate Committee Studying Gay Marriage.

The Marriage Law Foundation has a range of publications dealing with the importance of one-man, one-woman marriage, including:
